I mainly use hardware YubiKeys, and if the software supports them fully for login instead of only 2FA, then it's amazing. In this case I can use anyone's laptop or phone, go to MapleAI, say login with a passkey, and simply log in there without typing anything besides the YubiKey PIN. And the security is great, as even if a keylogger were present, my account could not be compromised.
And on top even if people would use apple/google passkeys they would be infinite more secure in general than passwords and then let's not forget what kind of passwords some people use 😅
