The Marxists were deeply involved in trying to turn the civil rights moment into a Marxist violent revolution. They were very disappointed when it ended with equal rights and equal opportunity instead of equal outcome (aka equity).
Black Lives Matter is a communist movement.
Labor unions have always been the goons of communism.
Fighting corporate greed, aka capitalism, is the classic communist line. Now Marxism has evolved into so much more with their "intersectionality identities" LGBT, CRT, SEL, DEI, decolonization, defund police, ... they're all Marxist critical theories.
