? I don't think you understand what terrain theory is. Terrain is a reference to the body not literal ground. In the way that flowers grow poorly in tainted soil, so too does good health in a tainted body.
Germs cause disease in a fertile (for germs) terrain. The work of Béchamp, a contemporary of Pasteur, is well reasoned and I have yet to see a compelling refutation.
Focusing on germs and not how they proliferate in a body is a major blind spot in contemporary medicine. And by the way Terrain and Germ theory are not in competition. More like Terrain theory is a composite theory with Germ theory.
