This is exactly the problem and limitation of AI. The Broca's area of the brain deals with speaking and writing. Today's LLMs are little more than a digital Broca's area (and Wernicke area for the speech / typing recognition).

Until we start developing artificial versions of the other areas (prefrontal cortex for good decision making, etc) all we are getting is text prediction with no good judgment. But because it looks SO much like a normal person's speech patterns, it's easy to think there's a whole brain behind it.
