there is also something about "no default branch" in gitworkshop ui but i dont understand am i doing something wrong, nostr remote seems to be working, push and fetch without errors (though there seems to be tui bug where it "eats" previous lines of terminal output)

when creating a post it shows as highlighted npub with @ prepended, but when posted it is nostr: prefix and no highlight, see

we are talking about different signatures. The way that prevents installing app with different key over play store version is android app signing that is checked by the OS itself (trust on first use, then making sure developer key doesnt change)

Separate question - but then I notice most of zapstore apps that I already have from f-droid are signed by Zapstore itself, not by the app developer, which means zapstore copied the app binary from f-droid without modifications, and so I need to trust zapstore on that, which is meh?

idk how zapstore works but i am pretty sure nostr keys cannot be used as android signing key. i assume nostr keys are used to sign the message which contains app hash and/or android signing key (ie tie the app and/or app signing key with nostr identity), then it is possible to keep the same signing key for the app regardless of the store.

PSA guix recommended install.sh sets up default channel pointing at savannah git which is hammered by "ai" crawlers into non-working state, end result is every new user has guix pull failing. Solution is to do `guix pull --url=https://codeberg.org/guix/guix.git` (which is the current main repo)

looks like my previous reply disappeared (i guess i messed up relays setup). Since then
i figured amber has two modes - local and remote signing, i only use it for local but there is no way to turn off remote signing? As it is now it is a noticeable battery drain for no bemefit in my case :(
