Correct. Few are high agency with high pain tolerance. I still find majority are lazy af who want things handed to them. I stopped answering people who ask questions that can be answered by an AI in 2 seconds. They won't do well in the new economy cuz its gonna look like this.

We use it as a team relay for @hivetalk, primarily to aggregate our media and notes. team members also can just use it as a relay so that they can backup their notes and media into one location.
Only the members in your nostr.json (local or remotely hosted, you can choose either) have write ability to the relay, and its world readable.
We also included links to bouquet for syncing down all your video/image etc media from big relays such as damus and also the curator client which has the ability to sync all your notes, profile data and more to the relay. You can also use curator to search for any kind # on any relay. Its designed for teams or small groups, and with the nostr.json access list only, NO SPAM.
if you scroll back in my feed from about a week ago, i did a 2 min talk to explain what it does. And see the github for other fancy configs you can setup like an external super cheap super fast s3 bucket for media and postgres database, as starter examples.

I agree. This is why I keep trying to get plebs to run relays, especially non-technical ones. I tried really hard to make it as easy as possible with oneshot. Ultimately this is the way community groups should be started, Relay-based.
Perhaps the mind shift is not ready yet.
With AI, most basic small web/relay operations won't need a technical person.
But it seems like its still taking too long for people to wake up to this.

Mine hasn't crashed a single time since I deployed about 5 days ago, its still on the free plan and I've transferred about 100 images about 0.5 GB
May be its time to get a $2/mo server, you can upgrade to that if your volume is pretty big and if you're pushing a lot of heavy content, use a S3 Bucket

You don’t want a public relay, so only the pubkeys you add in the dashboard have write access. It’s yogi members only.
Then slap on your custom shakespeare yoga client that defaults only your relay. Share with yogis and get them to post content
