Agreed. When I first started on nostr I felt like he's someone important to follow until my friend pointed out that bitcoin or nostr doesn't have a someone we need to follow. The truth, the concepts are all out there for you to learn & know for yourself.

There's a whole world around bitcoin. I'm not from coding world. But the more I get involved and think in bitcoin, the more I want to learn coding and be able to connect to the blockchain on my own.
Bitkey is just to test the waters. I have #trezor too. I like it better.

Can’t agree more. If you don’t participate, your money is going to devalue faster. So everyone invests in S&P500 which technically goes up to match inflation. Anyone saying otherwise is just ignorant. If it went up 10% on average for the years, it means inflation is 10%. Logically there’s no way GDP grew at such rate. Maybe in fiat terms, yes. That’s pretty much inflation and devaluation together.
Once US runs out of countries to exploit, we are all doomed. No friends left. Gonna have to claim bankruptcy, in other words, the future generations have to work for free for our wrong doing.

People are people everywhere man. I’d see nostr as a place for likeminded people who like bitcoin. More than that it being censorship resistant, anonymous means a lot which you’d see once you shit post on traditional centralized social media. Don’t get me wrong. I was in ur place, went to twitter, felt good initially only to realize that the AI content to human content ratio is dramatically higher now. I don’t need to stay on social media to react to AI generated media. That very fact that my feelings are being manipulated and exploited for drumming up engagement made me quit twitter. It’s been 2 months I guess.
I’m into the philosophy of bitcoin but more than that I like to have a space that can’t be taken away from me.
When US starts pulling a UK with arrests based on social media tweets, you know where to find safe space. 🫡

Today I felt my car made a sound as if it was hit from behind. More like scraped my car.
Then I saw a car over take me. I followed it, took pics, asked the guy to pullover, he didn’t and sped away. I gave up the pursuit and went back home cussing the whole way. I thought of calling 911 once i got home.
I checked the camera feed on the car to realize that he never hit me or at least that I could see in the video. Car looks fine except a scratch that couldn’t have happened in a rear end collision no matter how small it is.
I feel so bad thinking about my drive and how I felt when I wanted to get the guy.
I realized a few philosophies.
1. My anger wasn’t at anyone. It was all in me.
2. Your reality may not be The reality.
3. No matter how you good are being, you can’t always get the outcome you desire.
4. I should take myself less seriously.
5. Life is short. Live while you still can.
Not bad for a day’s work.
