Some people don’t have great bandwidth so it’s a lot easier for them to see faster loading images.
Also, it helps with storage on our servers for free uploads. Account holders have the option to upload originals.

Thank you for the observation. We just recently moved to fiat based pricing due to BTC volatility and working out some kinks.
For the 3 year discount, 20% only applies to the 2nd and 3rd years, so it would be;
$69+$55+$55 =$179.00
For the sats to $, we use BTCPay and they use Kraken to convert. It seems there was a default 10% addition for price movement…. We just noticed that, thanks, and changed it to 5%, so now the cost should be about $187 for 3 years (.17 cents a day)
If this still seems expensive to people, as a reminder, we have a new $1.50/mo Purist Acct AND offer free uploads up to 50MB.

We priced our services in btc only since we started almost three years ago, when btc was at $17k. We only recently started pricing in fiat (still btc only payments) because btc pricing doesn’t work. We tried, everyone complained, sales were all over the place, just didn’t work..
If you have a business priced only in btc or know of any, please share tips and experiences.

I’m trying out the Bitkey wallet, with the little stone fingerprint sensor thing. The first thing I’m noticing is you need to use your fingerprint a lot. I think it is not very inclusive of people that don’t have fingers or fingerprints…

I recently had a weird idea that might prove a flat earth theory, hear me out..
Our eyeballs are round, all planets, stars, water droplets in space are round, our brains are round.. What we really are seeing is the natural ‘super shape’ which appears ‘round’ to us, but is actually a continuation of itself, a sliver of eternity, think of the movie ‘Arrival’.
This would mean every super object that appears round or continual, is actually a single plane, it’s just that we visualize it as ‘round’.. All other shapes are just arbitrary variations of ‘round’ eternal continuations..

Free uploads without an account are stored for ‘as long as possible ™️’ but no guarantees. Also they are publi available in the Media Gallery for anyone to see, and not so easy to delete.
With an account they are stored and backed up for as long as you own the account + 1 year. With an account you can also privately store, manage and delete all uploads in one place, you Media Management Gallery.
