I agree that God can and will turn evil deeds into good fruit in time, I cannot accept “materialism is just a phase humanity needs” or “not consider materialism bad” because that logic destroys the category of “evil” “bad” and “wrong” altogether, and with it,

the transition is a messy and tough process, but I think when we denominate our lives in bitcoin, it kind of defuses the anxiety bomb.
If you are always converting your work and the value you create in the world into bitcoin, and spending bitcoin, you always benefit.
Cheap sats or more purchase power.
The circular economy is ideal, but even if we are working a fiat job, “spend and replace” still de-energizes the fiat world.

That money isn’t broken.
Fiat is an instrument of extraction, and people are aggressing upon you when they print money.
Broken is a morally neutral word which points to a mean’s inability to fulfill its end.
The money is doing the only this it was designed to do, it’s working perfectly. It’s achieving an evil end.
That. is the the ace of spades.
Since it’s not true, it’s not sharp or effective rhetoric.
Worst still, “broken” is a euphemism which in reality hurts bitcoin advocacy by surrendering the moral high ground.

It’s tough, I don’t know how if nostr can onboard new people effectively.
I understand you have to put in the work, creeping on big accounts and just replying to everything with hopefully something insightful that catches you a follow, but proof of work.
I did equal work on twitter and nostr, starting from scratch, as a plebe nobody.
I wrote a fresh book with a killer message pushing the ball forward on the orange pilling front. and the proof of work is undeniable.
I’ve done about 10 podcasts, some really big ones and some smaller ones. They were all a product of twitter. Without twitter I would have gotten zero.
I’m don’t give a shit about selling books, i just want to get the message out and help people orange pill their loved ones.
So im in a tough spot. i love the idea of nostr and its principles, and i wish i could be a nostr only person. and @nprofile…hdcf can do that, and be an example, but he is already a known figure. His message will get out and cross pollinate all platforms.
but if ur a nobody pleb, but trying to get in the fight, like me, i hard thinking nostr only engagement would help the cause.
I’ll stick with 50/50, but if im honest, probably 75 twitter 25 nostr is probably better for getting the message out 🤷‍♂️

I only got on social media to spread the ethical message in my book. Meet people where they are.
My twitter and nostr have been steadily growing together, basically 1 follower on nostr for every 2 on twitter.
makes sense cause half the followers on twitter are bots, right?
but i mirror post everything, and these last couple weeks twitter has pulled ahead and the obvious bot follows are less numerous.
And that just makes me look in the mirror and ask why?

Aristole was one of the first to recognize the truth that economics are a product of ethics.
This means before any macro, there are morals.
Meaning in order to understand the whole of economics we start from the ethics.
When we start from ethics, we have an objective moral substrate to hang economics on.
that means we do not have a relativistic moral framework.
We don’t get to say “good for them, bad for me”
fiat and bitcoin both fulfill all the functions of money. they store value, are exchanged for value, and price value.
they both fulfill money’s final end of forming the bonds between humans socially at scale.
They both work as money.

Fiat extracts value out of monetary objects and redistributes it to the ones debasing the money.

“broken” assumes a speculative fantasy about man’s relation to reality and one another.

But that framing misses the essence.
When Nixon severed the dollar’s tether to gold, he removed central banking’s last constraint: reality itself.
As a store of value, fiat did not spring a leak; an extractive siphon was built into every dollar by design.
If the problem were merely a leak, if the money were simply broken, then we could fix it by tightening policy.
But the seeming “leak” is the design; the extraction is mechanical.
Fiat money must expand to survive because it is lent into existence at interest.
